Gw2 how long do banners last

Guild banner effects persist on a character for their full duration. Being downed , defeated , or map travel will not remove them. Any remaining time of guild banner effects remain on log out or character changing.

All guild banners last in the world for 1 hour. But they will be removed immediately before the 1 hour time expires when the person who set it up logs out. Guild banners that appear in your inventory may be activated by double-clicking, like any other consumable.

Guild banners that appear in the guild storage may be activated by any guild member with the Use Placeables privilege. The banner had only been down for about 5 minutes before disappearing.

Also, if I wanted to place a Heroes Banner outside a home instance for everyone to gather with bonuses, it will disappear the second I enter the instance. Like a minion. Posted by: GAUCreep. Get i with the first character again on this map, its too, the banner is remove.

Could some Dev PLEASE explain the duration, why some instantly disappears, why some last for 2 weeks or more and not the least WHY some instantly go away, some stay put and some only stay put if I change representing different guilds between placing and relogging an alt with another representation.

Or is this all crap expensive randomness. I found zero info about this anywhere? And , yes I logged the ip of each instance for referance. Mons which doesn't refresh the existing time left on my buff. Interacting with it does nothing. I'd love to know this. I have gathering banners that I placed like a week ago that were still up before the patch. But Hero Banners seem to disappear in minutes sometimes.

If that map IP closes the banners go. If the map stays alive the banners remain forever. Some maps do stay around that long. Hero Banners however don't seem to. I've seemed to notice, in my experience, if the person who places the banner leaves the map it disappears. Place a banner that improves power and condition damage for you and nearby allies. Place a banner that increases healing power and boon duration for you and nearby allies.

Place a battle standard that revives fallen allies and finishes downed foes. Once placed, the banner periodically grants boons to allies. Staggering Banner. Push back nearby foes with a staggering blow.

Furious Rally. Inspire nearby allies, granting fury.
