Thank you for this message. I almost going through a tough financial hardship. Although you have faith and trust begging God for money or employment seem to become your focal point at a risk of appearing to be worshiping money instead of God. I asked for forgiveness and instead focus on God providing all my needs as He has promised. This is why He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross.

His shed blood on that cross covered the sin debt of all mankind. When you have unrepentant sin in your life, it creates a barrier between you and your Heavenly Father. Most of us ask for forgiveness when we pray, maybe once or twice a day. But you should ask forgiveness as often as you catch yourself sinning. This keeps you close and obedient.

I always gave my kids a tip when they were little, if they were scared of something or had a problem. I told them to imagine putting their problem into a box and wrapping it up with a big red bow. Then imagine handing that gift over to Jesus. I recently did this because I was struggling with forgiveness. I had a hard time forgiving someone and it had been a burden for a long time.

I put that burden into a box, and let me tell you, there was a struggle in letting it go. But once I gave it completely over to the Lord, the forgiveness was completely over and I no longer had a struggle with that person.
