Why does blackberry not turn on

If all previous options have been exhausted and the phone continues to periodically freeze than the motherboard may be the issue. It starts charging when plugged in. I have tried replacing of battery and battery charger both but none of them solved my problem.

You will only see is the red light turn on when you put the charger. That happened again with the new battery put this time I used a charger of my iPhone with the cable of the Passport and the phone turned on again, but that was a lucky.

The battery charger that comes with the Passport is trash. Now I tried to turn it on and got dead "Red battery" symbol. What has happened? I still can't switch it on. No I bought a new phone. The phone was two years old and probably designed to stop working after that!

I had to get a friend to repair the charge socket on my BB passport. It charges now but I cant transfer data. He had to actually take it apart and resolder the tracks to charge socket. The socket is very lose, the USB plug does not fit snugly any more, I used it every day for two years after I bought it.

Now we have USB c chargers for phone, hopefully they will last longer! My BlackBerry passport just went off for no reason this morning I was confused,so I just hold on to the start bottling for like 10 seconds,it automatically came up am happy BlackBerry is the best.
