Join Date Jun Posts There's a large number of mobs that drop mathoms, the ones in Haudh Iarchith do, iirc, and that's in the Barrow Downs, so it should be fairly easy for you to rack up quite a bit much quicker than the cook rep items.

Since these are untradeable, i would start worry about getting extra rep only after im done with these two sources. Next is Barrowdowns dungeons in Bree. Like Erethizon already pointed out, there are repeatable Bree quests sending you there, and there are deeds that require you kill over of spiders, wights and spirits there. By time you will be done with deeds, you will have enough Mathoms of various sources to be kindred with hobbits.

Join Date Jul Posts I've seen stacks of 99 large mathoms on ah for less than a gold buy a stack and start clicking. Easyest way. Mathom is the 2nd easiest faction only topped by Evendim rep.

You get gift mathoms for a lot of quests in the shire which you need for the shire quest deed anyway , later at level 30 you get a lot of gift mathoms in the south of Evendim around Northcotton. As Neumi said Shire rep is probably 2nd easiest to get after evendim rep. Just playing the game and levelling by the time you are in mid 40's you will be Kindred , that comes from general questing and after the Oatbarton Quests, the drops off the mobs you kill along the way will give you enough mathoms.

TBH it is pointless 'grinding' rep for those cuddly little hobbits , rep comes to you as you play the game. If you are wanting the 'World Reknowned' title there is plenty of Rep grinding later.

With the F2P changes,the TPs for each level of reputation gained, and horse awarded for the World Reknown deed, I think that it would make more sense to allow players to hand in items as they get them. Handing in Well-kept Mathoms I have a level 25 character that has gone through the Shire as a starting area and has done the quests for the Mathom society and now has a friend status with that Mathom society.
