I came across a blog a while back that photoshopped photos of Russian cities with the same location as it appeared during World War II. I loved the idea and wanted to incorporate it into my blog. I am going to start each of my blogs with a photo in the same style. On the corner of West and South, where the fire station is located, there is a plaque commemorating the old high school. Provo High School The first term at Provo High School began in after a special election favored a one mill levy to furnish the city with a high school building and equipment. The new high school located on University Avenue was constructed and occupied in In the team placed second.

Provo High finished third in state in , and Provo High's girls' golf team took state in and Naomi Suifua was the 4A medalist for both state meets. In she set the course record for all female players in competition at East Bay Reserve Golf Club with a score of under par 62 and won her third individual state title in , though the team finished fourth overall. The other three choirs are audition-only choirs.

There is an Advanced Women's Ensemble, otherwise known by its new name, Bella Voice, which usually consists of 40 members. There is also a Chamber Choir, a member choir with seven tenors, seven altos, seven sopranos, and seven basses, referred to as "Chamber Singers. They were also selected to be the featured choir for the performance and had their own minute segment during the performance. The largest choir is the Concert Choir, ranging from anywhere to 50 to members.

During the Concert Choir's tour to Seattle in , the Chamber Singers were selected to sing the national anthem at a Seattle Mariners baseball game. The concert choir in the — school year was the highest ranked choir in the state, receiving a 1,1 plus, and a 1 plus plus. They were voted the best high school choir in the state of Utah.
