Cons Everything. Louis, MO - October 5, I loved working at JC until they recently started cutting staff hours. Targets remained the same with less people. No job security. You make lots of sales calls to previous clients daily, to promote rejoining. The highlight of each day was supporting clients through consultations. Cons No room for advancement, instability, upper management not honest about direction of company, under appreciated by upper management.
JC is a revolving door because employees are not paid enough. However work with clients rocked! I miss it. Its been about 20 years. When I did my training - twice - once for program consultant and once for program director - which I think is called something different now - my hotel was paid for and I got a 50 dollar stipend.
My thought is value the employees more - those on the front lines. I consistently brought in business. I sold the platinum program - not sure what its called now - the highest one on their tier.
Yet my take home was less then 20, My hourly rate was very small and commissions the same. If they paid more there wouldn't be a revolving door. Even managers come and go. I went back three times. It was familiar, I loved the work but unless you are married and its a second salary won't work. Unless they've changed the pay structure. If they have this the best place to work!
